Student Credit Cards
Student credit cards are a helpful tool. You will find many lenders seeking your business once you enter college. In some cases, high school students may receive credit card offers. Student credit cards differ from ordinary ones in that they tend to have lower available credit amounts, and may require parental consent in cases where a student is not yet 18 years of age. Many students have student loans to pay off once they finish their higher education. Adding credit card debt to that load might be a mistake, so please be judicious in your use of credit cards. Take note of the interest rate at the time you get a credit card, and monitor all correspondence with the lender to remain aware of charges, fees, and penalties for certain shortcomings on your part.
